Commissioning

Commissioning is the ultimate test for proving the design and installation of building services in practice and is a requirement of part L of the building regulations. Commissioning of all systems is critical in achieving the safe, energy and carbon efficient and effective operation of hydronic & air systems through correct circuit balancing. Proper commissioning enables engineering systems to operate at optimum performance and provide the building users with good quality internal environments. HVAC Commissioning Services Ltd carry out Test & Balance, Commissioning and certification of all types of mechanical H.V.A.C services Installations, both industrial and commercial. HVAC commissioning services will carry out a Full System certification to the consultant engineers design criteria. System Performance Testing can also be carried out to access the running efficiencies of plant. A full findings report will be raised on completion. 

Chemical Flushing

System contaminants such as mill scale, jointing compounds and building debris will be found in newly fabricated heating and cooling systems. If allowed remain in the system in sufficient quality these contaminants will make the system prone to blockages at strainers control valves and small bore heat exchangers. Independent Legionella risk assessment surveys can be

carried out by our certified Engineer. The risk assessments will contain a full hard & soft copy of their findings Including full systems schematics and Domestic water service drawings indicating any area that is deemed a high risk. All assessments carried out to National Guidelines for the Control of Legionellosis in Ireland, 2009 and L8 Standards.
